Standalone Inventory Software – Any suggestions please?

Do you know of a standalone software package for inventories that let’s you insert time and date stamped photos into it?

At the moment I use Imfuna Let which is good but I am becoming concerned about the fact that the pictures are time and date stamped in US rather than UK time. That is OL until the TDS scheme administrator asks why I was doing inventories at 3am in the morning!

Does anyone know where I can get some decent standalone property inventory software that let’s you embed pictures rather than using the web based subscription services currently available?

Thanks

Hi.

I'm an inventory clerk and I currently use the miProgram app to carry out all my inventories and check outs as well as mid term inspections.

After a bit of practice I can now carry out inventories in around 45-60 mins and there is no typing up afterwards. Just full out the forms, take as many photos as you like and upload it to the website. PDF report is there ready and waiting to print off!

Hi Paul. Before I rush to the download button, what sort of ongoing charges are there for this web app? I am assuming that if you can do an inventory in an hour not only are you very good there must be a transcribing option on the app with an associated cost?

Hi Gary,

There is an initial setup charge of between £95-£195 to get you setup on the server and brand/format your documents in the way you require. Then a usage fee of £5 per inventory and £2.50 per check out. Mid term £1.25 if you do those too.

The app is mainly aimed at Letting Agents and Invetory clerks that use the app on a regular basis.

There is no transcribing involved as the app uses drop down menus, templates and imbedded photographs. Dictation and transcribing is now an old fashioned method to us users and ludicrously inefficient.

I carry our around 90 highly detailed inventories and check outs per month.

If you are a private landlord purely looking to use it a couple of times then I'm sure miProgram may be able to make some kind of exception.

I work very closely with them and used to be their national training manager! 🙂

I know work for their sister company miServices and we can carry out inventories for you all over the country as we are the largest inventory service in the uk.

Any more questions, please ask.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Mark,

That's very kind thank you. And apologies for posting my contact details on a previous post.

I presume Tony can be contacted on the main number of their website?

Many thanks.

No problem Paul, I'm sure the number on their website will be fine. If you upgrade to a business member profile you can add all your contact details there. It only costs £4.99 PCM and helps to fund the running of this forum.

Having reviewed a number of property inspection tools and apps. , I am of the opinion that Imfuna is the market-leading app. and has the most intuitive and user-friendly interface.

The Imfuna dictation tool is proved to be over 97% accurate and you can add unlimited numbers of date and time-stamped photographs.

Imfuna operates off various different platforms, smartphones, and tablets, including iPad.

Visit the Imfuna blog for more information and case studies: http://imfuna.com/blog

I personally welcome lettings agents and inventory clerks embracing digital technology as I believe it gives them a competitive edge and also helps them better serve landlords and tenants, while improving efficiency and turnaround.
