Every landlord wants to maximise their rental. Whatever the circumstances, when people rent it’s not just the number of bedrooms, fitted kitchen and access to train station that are important to them.

It’s the all important lifestyle.

Renting a lifestyle is much cheaper than buying it yourself. Tenants will pay that bit extra for being part of that chic factor. Properties with balconies and a step up from ground floor rent quicker. Furnished is an option too, particularly if you are offering a 6 month lease. Who wants to move furniture around in a six month period? It’s cheaper to put your own stuff in storage. A couple of faux leather sofas, glass/ chrome dining table, leather look bed…But wait!

What fun to include a few gadgets!

There are a lot of men in the rental market, whatever the circumstances. In divorce/ separation the woman tends to hold onto the house with the kids, and sons are more likely to move out than daughters. So, this gaming chair is perfect. And if your tenant doesn’t need/ like it, well, you will just have to take it home with you!

A TV in the bathroom might seem an extravagance, but what a wow factor. And if you can add an extra £50 a month to rental…well, it’s worth it. How many rentals will someone see, and yours is different?
I’m not saying you should install an indoor jacuzzi everytime, but if your property lends itself to this beautiful bathtub, then why not!
