Too often Buy to Let best buy tables can leave you very disappointed as they are usually all based on a low Loan to Value of 60 or even 50% .table

I have done a more realistic search using a Freehold house purchase price of £100,000 and looking to borrow £75,000 with an applicant income of £25,000. This only covers a basic degree of criteria, but will give a more realistic picture of what is out there in the market.

The last of the figures below also shows the total of what you would pay to that lender if you kept the mortgage with them for 5 years. This will give another indication of the type of value the lender is offering.
